An early Mother's Day?

Dear Mummy,

I love you so, so much.

For everything you have ever done, have thought of doing, and will be doing for me. Thank you.

For everything you have given, have thought of giving, and will be giving to me. Thank you.

For never leaving. Thank you.

For being my mother, my sister, my best friend, my father, my brother, my buddy-buddy, my companion, my enemy, my frenemy, my teacher, my family. Thank you.

For the awesome foods you cook, the wonderful cakes you bake, the amazing kitchen experiment creations, the yummy takeouts you buy, the delicious meals we ate out. I feel the love. Thank you.

For all the love, selflessness, late nights, early mornings, courage, sacrifices, patience, rides, care, and so on (this is endless). I think you're times better than Wonder Woman. Thank you.

For never giving up. Thank you.

For going through life with me, the baby times, toddler times, kid times, child times, teenager times, young adult times, and for as long as possible and beyond. Through every stage -innocent, cute, silly, childish, rebellious, asking for trouble, don't know any better, and hopefully, mature. Thank you.

For mollycoddling me, bearing with my stubborn tantrums, putting your hand all over my face when you think I might have a fever, holding my hand, making my favourite foods, supporting my decisions, taking me out, and everything else in between. Thank you.

For being a constant in my life. Thank you.

For your time and energy so that I'll have a better life. Thank you.

For all the little and big things you do -'writing' while driving, playing mahjong, helping out at Ahma house, and so on. Thank you.

For teaching me so much in life out of the textbook, how to love, how to treat others, how to be a better person, how to live. Thank you.

For being there through it all. Thank you.

For just being you. Thank you.

Love love love love love love love from,
Samantha chew.
