Brisbane so far..

I think I'll do a proper post when I get back. But just a short update: my laptop is down (can't charge, can't turn on, no light on the battery indicator whatsoever) & my phone cable broke into two (don't ask me how) so it's a horrible electronics trip for me. The camera is ok other than the current issues which I have contacted Samsung about but am still freaking annoyed with them. Lucky for my host here she has a lightning cable I could borrow ☺️.
I actually upload bits & pieces of my day on Instagram -leathershorts.
Since I have a SIM card now I can actually use the Internet freely and all that. Thank god for technology. And Optus for the cheap 28 day plan. Heh.
Weather is fine except when it rains it gets freaking cold but nothing a little Starbucks hot chocolate can't help. We've been doing crazy lots of walking everyday which is good because I am getting fatter by the day. Can see an overflowing muffin top forming already 😔.
Pictures:
At the airport on the evening of departure.
The first picture I took upon arriving. Fresh out of the plane! ✈️
Along the drive to Gatton. And it hailed along the way too omgz.
Gatton sky at night.
Evening view from our balcony.
Opposite Alex's house.
Morning in the balcony with the breeze and #travelteddy.
Our breakfast in the car & the first time pumping petrol. It's DIY, no attendants here! Learning experience max.
Went for a short stroll in the Botanic Gardens.
I think the top picture is from while crossing a bridge & the second one is from a walk somewhere.
Trying to be artsy-fartsy. 😔
Sunset from the other end of the balcony. So many beautiful sights here, sometimes the camera just can't capture it like the naked eye.
Dinner. This place has pretty decent Indian food although a little pricey for Indian food from what I'm used to.
Them koalas.
View of the treasury at sunset.
This pretty much sums up my days here so far. Some photos are in my camera and my laptop is down (see above) so I'm on the mobile app which sucks bye ohwell.
